years Pensionable service in
this Colony a Gratuity calculated
in the ordinary way at the
rate of
one month's half-salary
for every completed six months
Pensionable service.
2. I have been largely influenced in
my
reconsideration
of my previous decision
by
the apparent honesty of
Mr McIver's explanation
given in the letter
by
Mr May a copy of which
was
enclosed in Sir W
Robinson's Despatch no 270
of the 15th December last.
3. I request therefore
